Hamid, an 11-year-old Muslim boy, lives in Morocco, North Africa, with his little blind sister, Kinza. Even worse than Kinza's physical blindness is the spiritual darkness which pervades their lives. Their adventure unfolds when the moon rises to light their path of escape.
